mmmmm… depends on what the slider is for… and how many clicks(sections?) are expected/how often they are herd…if that makes sense…
If its a small slider with like 5ish options, version one is fine. Its also good if the options are spaced farther apart.
but when it comes to like 10+ options, version 2 is better. also good for options that are closer together (like in the vid)
Note, if its a smooth slider, like one for rotating something in studio, then no sound is best. (sound really only works for segmented sliders, but the question is how many segments can you have until it becomes a smooth slider?)
I appreciate the detailed response!
This slider is for dropping items that may have high quantities, such as caps (basically coins) and ammo, and the number of segments of the slider is dependent on those quantity. So the slider can potentially be very segmented or very smooth.
I think I’m going to go with version 2, based on your advice, since the slider will more more oftan than not towards the smooth side.
