Why are people leaving my game so quickly?

Hello everyone, i recently made a brainrot guessing game because italian brainrot was trending, but the issue is, i sponsored my game yet no one stays to play, them most players ive had at once was like 34.
Could anyone check the game out and give me suggestions?

It is based off of games like these:

Which for some reason seem to do a lot better, even though the core gameplay mechanics are the same…

Honestly the top seems to be created 4/9/2025 and yours is created 4/26/2025. I believe the algorithm will promote the older game.

Unfortunate try again next time.

What is your average playtime?

Does it really promote older games? I had no idea of this, guess its too late

today 5.3 minutes, and for the 4 days the sponsor has been going, 3.1 minutes

Could i possibly stop my sponsor campaign and re-enable it in like a week?

It should’ve been clear to you, but trends are trends; they will die eventually. As trends pass, so does the public’s attention to them, and people won’t play your game for very long. If you’re making the game for fun, then it’s fine. Otherwise, no matter the format, farming trending memes is not ideal for developing your game dev career. It’s a harsh truth, I know, but you have to deal with it and find a better concept if you’re looking forward to building a good reputation for yourself.

But how? The brainrot stuff is trending, so why do they play the other games but not mine? what am i doing wrong, if people always left quickly on these trend games, then the other ones wouldnt be popular

for starters, the other games have bright colorful thumbnails, which are pretty ideal when it comes to these types of games.

The descriptions of these games are also more intriguing, as they use emojis and stuff to make it more colorful, which can make it much more appealing.

So I just think the main issue is the lack of color the thumbnails and icon poses, adding some color will probably help it out some!

Also the other games appear to have tags in the description, which are basically things that help boost you on the algorithm when searching for something.

An example of this is if I put doors in my description, the game is more likely too appear when someone searches for doors. So try including the names of some of the memes in the description.

I’m not using ads because i don’t know what update it was, but a bit ago, maybe a few months roblox announced an algorithm change and the algorithm wont promote games with spammy descriptions, or titles such as [NEW SPEED POTION] SPEED SIMULATOR. But ill use those sure, and ill increase the contrast and change a bit on my game before i re-enable the sponsor
