We are allowed to post discord links on games and in groups via the social tabs.
Why are we not allowed to post our links on the devforums? It seems rather inconsistent.

The social boxes on the site are not visible to 13- users.
The same rules apply to the Developer Forum. You can only post Discord links in places that are visible to 13+ users and not to 13- users (so non-publicly visible categories). The forum prevents 13- users from attaining New Member.

Further to this, ROBLOX didn’t create the forum systems, they bought them from a provider.
The Developer Forum using Discourse is not relevant to this at all and thus the bump was 100% unnecessary. In fact on Discourse you can even sign up using your Discord account which I did myself when I created my account over there.
Logged-out users can see #updates, #help-and-feedback, #platform-feedback, #resources, #collaboration, and #bulletin-board. And so Roblox can’t risk exposing a <13 yo
to a Discord link. That is all to it.
Mentioning Discord usernames (mostly happens in #collaboration) are fine because they aren’t linking to anything and you have to be 13+ to take the offers anyways.
