So I’ve seen a lotta games that include lots of words and phrases known as ‘tags’. (I mainly noticed them with obby games)

What are they and why do they include them in their games’ descriptions?
I believe when you have tags in the description, if someone searches for lets say, simulator, if you have simulator in your description its probably more likely to be found by the algorithm or something like that. ( it works kinda like this I presume, as this is how I got the most amount of visits Ill ever receive :[ )
So people probably include it cause they cant find a way to seamlessly include said tags in the description.

From what I can tell it’s an SEO thing, to try to rank better in the Roblox website search and google searches.

I’m pretty sure when you search up games, Roblox also consider’s their description, Which is why if you search up “Fighting” you get some trash obbies because those obbies have every single word in the dictionary in their tags
