Why do posts that ask about previous posts being flagged get removed?

So I have been getting flagged for Spam by the @system or somebody for absolutely no reason.

“What was flagged? I don’t see anything flagged.” on UGC Catalog Live Post

“Hi there, I love this house it looks great as I would love to purchase it I do not have any income yet but soon I will

also other posts witch I have removed so I dont have to deal with the flags

It’s because it wasn’t related to the main topic of the post which is the UGC. You need to keep off-topic conversations off the thread especially if it’s a public announcement.

Well I was replying to the persons post it-self asking what was flagged, as I didn’t see anything he posted flagged.

The system account only sends a message if your post was hidden. The system does not flag posts, the community does. I believe it’s something around 4 users flagging a post before it is hidden. (Don’t take my word on that) If you don’t see the post, it was likely deleted after the flags were approved by a staff member, who then took the delete action.

“Hi there, I love this”, isn’t constructive feedback, because it doesn’t provide any meaningful insight into whatever the post was about. It’s against the rules to post feedback that doesn’t provide any additional insight to the original post. That’s what the like button is for.

When something is flagged and hidden, it can be diminishing, and you might feel as if it was flagged for no reason, but usually when something is hidden, the amount of people needed to make it hidden means a lot more than just one person disagrees with your post.

I’ve seen both yours and his getting flagged. It wouldn’t be removed along side yours if it wasn’t.

In general, it’s best not to comment on flagged status of posts, since the comments will be obsolete once we go through and deal with the flagged posts.

We will typically remove any comments about flagged post status because of this reason, and this is probably also why the community flagged those posts. The comments are not relevant to users that come in and read the topic after the flags have been handled.
