Why does CFrame use Rads instead of degs?

So, I was messing around with CFrame.Angles(), and I realized it takes radians instead of degrees. But why? Most people think in degrees, so why does Roblox (and a lot of programming stuff) prefer radians for rotations?

I knoiw rads are related to pi and being more “natural,” but I don’t fully get it. What makes radians better for this kind of stuff? Wouldn’t degrees be easier?

Just Google “benefits of radians over degrees” and it’ll explain a lot.

You are right, it is more mathamatically pure and natural. By using Pi, it is directly connecting math to angles. Degrees however don’t even achieve this and it just comes down to a fraction over 360. It might be easier, but computers should stick to more math. As the post above, there are a billion more stuff/advantages you can get by google! :slight_smile:
Btw: Use math.rad() for conversions
