Maybe something to do with this Any Material that has a direction or 'grain' in a Part now orients to World space when Unioned. that I made a bug report about.
The post has no replies from Roblox and it’s been 11 days since I noticed the issue…

I made the model in blender, not sure why it ended up like that.

It’s actually been an issue for a long while now, ever since the CSG modeling update, and was ‘to be addressed’ according to a staff’s reply, but alas clearly not;

Only workaround I know of is to just keep rotating the parts you’ve got selected until you reach the desired grain angle, then rotating it back to its original orientation after unioning

Go to UV Editing tab in blender, select all the SIDE Faces.

Then click the UV tab in this section



and select “Reset.”

(Side note, please select the SIDE faces, not the cylinder parts)

It doesn’t work, roblox reunwraps the whole model and places it outside the grid
