I made so my R6 character arm follows the part that is attached to a moving handle so it simulates pumping but it doesn’t follow correctly. Any help would be highly appreciated, thank you.
R6 rigs do not natively support IKControl constraints and they are built for R15 rigs.

Yea i used this post to make this, but why the rig follow nicely the attachment in the video of this post but not in my character? I want to know if there is any way to make it work or there really isn’t any solution.
Here’s some stuff to check:
- Is the ghost limb welded correctly to the real arm - make sure it’s connected to the real limb with a Motor6D and check that part 0 is the Right Arm / Left Arm and part 1 is the ghost limb.
- In the IKControl instance make sure the ChainRoot is the Right Arm / Left Arm and the EndEffector is the ghost limb.
- The target point-towards needs an attachment and the IKControl.Target should be set to the attachment inside the point-towards and not just the part its-self.
I will try those steps, thank you.![]()
I found out why it didn’t work properly and there was a few reasons. First, i forgot to put a motor6d in the right arm with the same properties as the rig model. Lastly, i used directly the part instead of attachment for the IKControl. Now it works.
