Wiggling Confetti

I want to achieve this wiggling confetti effect that can be found in game Fireworks playground.

Right now i only managed to work with the properties of the ParticleEmitter itself

This is fine, however I want to achieve something like this: (image of fireworks playground)

they are wiggling as they spread.

how did they achieve this??? is it a mesh that is curving??? or some sort of animation???

Do you have a video clip of it?

Probably a flip book of sorts.

I tought of that, but the particle has a trail that is dissapearing slowly. Not shure if i could pull this off with a flipbook

From looking at the video a few times,

I would say on each one, there are a few particles in the front, a flame particle shooting backwards and then the tail is a flipbook with some fast frames that make it wiggle…

if you look at this capture from your video all of them have the same tail.. maybe in the flip book there are a few cells that have the wiggle end of the tail separated from the main end of the tail, that could give the effect of a fade… if there is one…

from watching the video a few times, I think the ‘fade’ might be really overlapping ones and ones that are behind and further out and look like they are fading but they are really going off away from the camera at some angle…

there might even be a few flipbooks with a wiggle, perhaps semi straight wiggle …

I think you should be able to duplicate it once you find or make a wiggle tail flipbook..

the particle could be coded to do a wiggle also but that would a lot of scripts running and or some module script… like a fast sine wave or something..

if in the video you could do a frame by frame play, see if the front (the bright part in front) ever wiggles or always goes straight.. i think it always goes out straight… so prob no code ..
