Section 1: Mechanics
This section shall cover the basic mechanics of the game.
Rule 1.1: The entirety of the game is composed of three modes: normal mode, longest mode, and random mode.
Rule 1.2: The game uses the English language vocabulary, as of the moment.
Rule 1.3.1: In normal mode, the system selects five to fifteen letters and letter combinations (such as but not limited to CH, QU, and the like), depending on how long the game has been running. The player must type out words using these letters and letter combinations. The player(s) with the lowest points for the round lose a heart out of the three given at the start of the game. The last player standing wins the round.
Rule 1.3.2: In longest mode, the goal of the player is to form the longest word possible using the given letters and letter combinations.
Rule 1.3.3: In random mode, the letters and letter combinations are switched multiple times during a single round without warning at random intervals.
Rule 1.4: If all players are tied in top place and the session has not reached the 25th round, no heart is deducted.
Rule 1.5: If a current game session reaches 50 rounds, the game session is cancelled, and all remaining players are awarded a win.
Rule 1.6: If multiple players are eliminated in one round, leaving the total number of non-eliminated players to zero, then nobody wins for that game session, and no player is granted a win.
Section 2: Scoring
This section shall discuss the scoring of points for the players and the exceptional circumstances surrounding the topic.
Rule 2.1: There shall be two main score systems: wins and points.
Rule 2.2.1: Wins are awarded to those who are either:
- The only player with non-zero hearts, or
- One of the players with non-zero hearts after the 50th round.
Rule 2.2.2: Points are given to players using the following system:
- Normal and Random Mode: 1 point for each letter and 3 points for each letter combination
- Longest Mode: 1 point each letter, including letter combinations. (NOTE: Points are doubled when recorded in the playerโs lifetime stats.)
Rule 2.3: Words are considered to have been submitted on time depending on when they were sent to the server, not from the result of the HTTP request.
Rule 2.4: Words that finish their analysis greater than or equal to one second (1000ms) after the end of a round will no longer be included in the final score.
Rule 2.5: Scores shall only be compared to those who are still connected to the round. Hence, the scores of players who have disconnected for that specific round shall not be considered when determining the lowest or highest score.
Rule 2.6: If one player remains in the game session due to the other players disconnecting, then:
- If five (5) rounds have finished, then the remaining player will be rewarded their points and a win given that they are the player with the highest accumulated points through all rounds, plus the current round out of all the players that have disconnected.
- Otherwise, the points will be rewarded, but the win will not.
Section 3: Revives and Other Items
Rule 3.1: Revives are only usable if there are still at least two non-eliminated players at the time of elimination. Otherwise, the game session immediately ends, and the remaining non-eliminated player is granted a win.
Rule 3.2: A revive returns the player to the next round with two hearts.
Rule 3.3: A revive is purchasable at 39 Robux (as of 6/26/2025). Price may change without prior notice.
Rule 3.4: A player may only use a maximum of three (3) revives in a singular game.
Section 4: Bans
Rule 4.1: The developer and the system reserve the right to ban players from entering WORDination due to suspicions of botting and exploits.
Rule 4.2: Penalties for flagged behavior are as follows:
- 1st-3rd flagged behavior: Points and wins are invalidated for the game session
- 4th flagged behavior: 7-day ban
- 5th flagged behavior: 30-day ban
- 6th and above flagged behavior: 365-day ban.
Rule 4.2: A banned player may appeal their case through X (formerly Twitter) at @REMSleep_RBLX. However, the developer reserves the right to accept or decline the appeal.
Rule 4.3: Bannable offenses include using any automated typing software that boosts typing time and the like. However, external sources such as dictionaries may be used.
Rule 4.4: Any inappropriate behavior, such as bullying, harassment, the like, and other behaviors which do not adhere to the Roblox Terms of Services shall warrant a permanent ban with no appeals.
Section 5: Final Provisions
Rule 5.1: Any inaccuracies in this rulebook shall be reported through X (formerly Twitter) at @REMSleep_RBLX.
Rule 5.2: The most important rule of this game is to simply have fun! ![]()
