Work arounds for forcing long distance cutscene rendering

I wish to create a cutscene, however the nature of my game results in very distant things which need rendering (like meteors, spaceships etc).

Problem is, these might not get rendered due to their distance

I’d like tips/work arounds so players on lower graphics levels particularly will at least think they are looking at a very distant objects.

Make a cutscene with objects from your game, such as meteors and ships, tween across the screen… this will end up looking a bit cartoony, not sure what type of look you are going for, but it is not hard to accomplish.
