Are there any workarounds that isnt just making multiple parts?

Set the Union’s CollisionFidelity property to PreciseConvexDecomposition, should work in most cases, should be noted though that making small holes in much larger models(even as meshes) can still cause inaccurate geometry even with Precise CollisionFidelity on.
is there anyway i can default this to all unions?
Not with Studio’s default features(That I know of).
You’d have to write your own plugin to do so since I doubt there’s one out there for this
