Hey, I made a post before talking about looking for people that could help me make this community based FPS game realistic and well I got a few interests from it.
So here is the Progress from view; The Scripter.
CMD LINE:
So Commands are vital for admins or developers, Commands allow Admins to stop and exploration or Hackers And for Devs it allows them to test functions and abilitys without fully implementing it into the game. So, I won’t lie the development place I’m currently working on is mainly for the gun system, So I wasn’t gonna go out my way to custom build a full admin CMD prompt system.
So this is me saying I’m using a Module Called Cmdr by evaera.
Using this module allows us to implement custom commands and use basic commands, Giving us an cmd prompt system without spending months making it from scratch.
Gun System:
Now, Don’t get me wrong I wish I could say “Bang chicken wing bang its fully done” But I sadly can’t.
I am waiting on the modular to supply me with a basic pistol or a starting weapon so I can implement weapon Logic, As Right now I’ve only got basic Viewmodel Control.
There is a Simple Bob system and a simple sway system, But sway needs some real good work done to it.
General Tools:
Now, I love scripting and I have been scripting for years and I know a lot of people want to go far with roblox scripting or Physical scripting. So Im going to supply the tools I used.Im currently Using:
VS CODE
Rojo Plugin
Wally
Roblox LSPThat’s the core things I’m using to make this game.
Finally, Now I’ve got that out the way I would like to claim this game isn’t for my own benefit. This game will only exist for the soul fact I hate the current FPS scene on Roblox right now, Nearly all good FPS games have some sort of Drama or just don’t receive updates.
So I’m making this game, that the Community gets to decide what updates happen or what gets changed for the sake of making this FPS game a go to for a no drama and consistent updates.
All this gets decided on the Discord if you want me to start linking it in these little blogs let me know.
Peace out,
Kye
