I’ve been working on a uniquely bread-themed game, working name: Toaster’s Haven.
The goal of this game is to collect bread, toast it, then use that toast to create bakery goods like bagels and breadsticks. From these items, you receive stat-boosts that speed up the collection and toasting process, ultimately serving to harvest more bread.
This game is still in its early stages, so any feedback surrounding what works, what doesn’t, mechanics, gameplay, etc. would be a great help!
Nice game idea! Sounds really interesting. Also maybe you can do a system where you sell the bread or the bakery goods, for example, NPC that are customers, or a sell button like on simulator games.
I love this game! You collect bread, toast it, and you can craft it into a bagel to make your weapon stronger, and you can sell your bread to get money!
The only thing you need to do now is polish up the game a little bit. Make the GUIs look a bit nicer, add a global leaderboard, save the player’s data so people will come back to your game. I didn’t notice anything that didn’t work, but you should add an oven like in Work at a Pizza Place to cook bread instead of blowing the bread with a blowtorch. Overall, once you have a leaderboard and the player saves data automatically, this would be a game I would love to play on Roblox.
Thanks for the feedback! Actually, I did think about having a sell-system that involved customers: for example NPCs that would bid on the items you create.
Glad you liked the concept! The GUIs and other game elements are pretty barebones because I was just prototyping different mechanics, but I’ll definitely make them prettier, eventually… lol. I might also change the blowtorch thing into something more intuitive.
