Would 250k tris for a City be too much?

Hello, I am thinking of building 1:1 replica of a nearby city for my game. The city has 14,5 km² and 11k people living in it. I am using a plugin in blender which makes the simple flat shapped replica which I will use to make the city. Im estimating that the whole map would be around 250k tris + terrain.

Would that be too much?
What is your expirience with triangles?

You can’t import a model into studio with that many tris. I suggest importing smaller parts, like building and cars then building the whole city in Studio. It’s a pretty big project, but it should be doable, so you don’t really need to worry about the triangle count if you’re importing smaller things at a time, rather than the whole city at once.

if ur planning on only making that in game than it is if not than it prob will lag also it won’t rlly let u upload it with more than 10 k so i would suggest chopping the buildings into 25 chunks

Everything will be seperated, im just asking if 250k tris in total is a lot

It’s a lot, but Roblox will be able to handle it. Most players probably won’t experience any lag. I recommend turning on StreamingEnabled for the best results.
