I have this very weird idea of making a game called “Whip Simulator”. I have done some research and found out that it is an actual thing and there are professional whip crackers out there. Here are some details of the game:
You would crack a whip (by leftclicking) to get “Cracks”
When you crack the whip, it makes a whip crack sound
The game would allow you to fight by whipping your opponent
You can whip crack to damage objects or players
You can extend your whip to grab something and throw it across the map (and other special attacks)
Any other feedback, critiques, or ideas are appreciated.
I’m not sure how this would get moderated, as it is the same level of ‘violence’ to Boxing Simulator or something like that. To have a lesser chance of it getting moderated, try not to put in a whipping sound, but more of a whooshing sound.
Also if a player gets whipped, to add a funny effect, you could make the player turn to a ragdoll, wait X number of seconds, then they can get back up. And a rebirth could give your player X more “Power”, then increasing the ‘thrust’ that a player gets when they are hit.
Doesn’t seem offensive, remember that there are some games outhere that include guns and blood which are acceptable. As long as the game doesn’t include something extreme, seems fine. All though it is always better to take words from someone with experience.
