Currently working on a more complex obby game. Somewhat like, running, doubling jumping over walls, and such. The game is basically a more harder obby, except there’s a lot of running and more jumping. The obby like area’s will be in levels, that will come out every week (1 per week or day, not yet decided.) and that’s basically it. Of course, it’s still being planned (somewhat.) but it’ll be out soon to demo. In the game, I’ll have moving bricks, spinning bricks, and bricks that move side to side, up and down, and things that can crush you. Possible enemies that you have to jump over, or attack or some sort of thing, and maybe flips. Each level will introduce something new, or something old, from previous levels. Levels may have new content every month depending what season it is, holiday, or month.
Would you play it?
Would you play it?
Maybe, if there were some changes to your game plan
No. Not at all. Terrible idea.

EDIT 2: Conclusions to the vote have ended. Since 58% of the community wants me to change my game plan a little, what should be changed? Reply down below.
I think the reactions are rather harsh. Some people would not play it because it doesn’t appeal to them. Perhaps the genre does not seem interesting. The main question is would you play this yourself? How many hours a day would you spend playing this game?
I mean I would play it myself, I quite enjoy testing it a lot. Yes, I agree, some may not like the genre so that’s why I’m aiming for an audience that does like the genre. And it’s a lot like “Parkour” on Roblox, except it’s not really. It’s also kind of like “Tower of Hell” except, there’s bricks that go up and down, side to side, and bricks that swing… And much more.
I did the would you play it because there wasn’t a “Yes, I would play it” It seems like a fun, more complex obby. Not the old jumpy jumpy hoppity hiptiy bing bang bong. It seems like a whole new style and i’d defiantly play it if it comes out!
Respectfully, this doesn’t sound enough like a fully-fleshed out concept to really judge as a successful idea yet. Parkour is a great feature to add to an obby, but it alone isn’t enough for it to stand out, especially with the flood escapes and competitive speedruns on the market that succeed standard obbies. I’d say there’s hope in your plan, it just needs more unique content.
Yes, I understand this. As I mentioned, it’s still being planned for the most part. I have much I want to add, so bare with me. I will make this unique.
Knowing that there will be constant updates, qnd something new to do would definitely keep me playing.
In my opinion, I enjoy playing obbies that have time limits or some type of boss that you need too pass.
However, you still have a lot of planning ahead. I personally like your idea, but it’s missing unique details.
I wish you the best of luck.
well, there are some flaws that can happen to your game. Moving bricks are no synchronized, so some players with better computers have an advantage over other people.
I agree with the moving bricks. Although, I have tested the game on mobile and PC, mobile runs as smooth as a Dell laptop. But this could as well vary depending on your mobile device’s storage, and your PC’s storage.
