Hello, today my game got taken down, it doesn’t appear as “Content deleted” and I still can access it, but upon clicking on it - it shows up as “Error 404”.
When i go to game settings overview I see the following message:
“Your experience may not be playable due to our policy.
Please read our post with details and appeal if you believe this is incorrect.”
I’ve re-read policy multiple times and our game is not breaking anything, our game is a “Shopping” genre game and today it was just deleted like that??

I have made roblox support ticket and hoping to hear from them soon, Have anybody encountered issues like these before and how can you get the game back?

This might be because of roblox’s new age maturity rating in place (All experiences have to submit the age rating in order to keep their game up)

The game age rating was already confirmed as “5+”, game has NOTHING to do with social hangout, it had no private areas such as bathroom n etc. . it was literally just a avatar & outfit shopping game and the genre was set as “Shopping”. Do you believe It could be a mistake due new Roblox policy?

Rather than making a support ticket, can you please check if it shows up in the Violations and Appeals page, and if so appeal it there.

It’s usually a lot faster than Support and is meant for this sort of thing.

Nothing appears in there, it’s so weird because I didn’t get a single warning on my email for this moderation and neither it appears in the appeals page.

My only clue is that the overview of game page shows up as “Your experience may not be playable due to our policy. Please read our post with details and appeal if you believe this is incorrect.”

I am trying to figure out what possibly could’ve triggered game’s ban when nothing seems to be conflicting with new roblox policy about social games ( even though our game wasn’t even social genre )

In that case, then support is unfortunately the only way to go. Best of luck - support is very painful to deal with.

Your game might be affected by robloxs recent policy updates which includes social hangout games. Roblox took down every social hangout game requesting you to appeal

You should have received the following message in your inbox:

To restore the game from discovery, simply resubmit the questionaire and contact Roblox Support under “Moderation” > “I was wrongly moderated for other content I created” explaining that your game isn’t discoverable. This should be a very simple process and one email to them should resolve the issue

Why has my experience been taken down/disappeared from search?

• Experiences we identified as potentially being impacted by the policies we announced yesterday were made temporarily unavailable. This includes most experiences with the Social Hangout descriptor. If you are unable to find your experience via the search bar in Roblox, it may have been one of the experiences impacted.We encourage you to retake the Content Maturity questionnaire and answer the new questions that apply to this policy update, and then submit an appeal here. You can find the correct steps to appeal below.

My experience was taken down by mistake. Fix it!

• We are aware that existing Restricted experiences with Social Hangouts were impacted during this process. We apologize for this inconvenience and have already identified and reversed these actions. We have already acted on many appeals from the last 24 hours, resulting in restored experiences, and will continue to actively review all incoming requests.If the new Content Maturity policies do apply to your existing Restricted experience (e.g. if your experience takes place in a bar or club), please update your Content Maturity questionnaire answers. How do I appeal if my experience has been taken down in error?

  1. Submit the appeal using the Roblox-linked email address that owns the experience.
  2. Provide the specific Place ID of the experience you are appealing for.
  3. Steps to appeal:
  • Go to roblox.com/support
  • Confirm your contact information and device type
  • Set Type of help category to Moderation. A new dropdown menu will appear.
  • Set Help Subcategory Type to I was wrongly moderated for an asset I created.
  • Enter the experience place ID in the field for Asset ID
  • In the input field, describe why the moderation action was a mistake. Make sure to mention ‘my experience was incorrectly moderated’ in your appeal.
  • Click the Continue button to submit your appeal.

On side note, i believe the “404” error is new on games and displays on taken down games by Roblox

Hi kinda have same issue, i have a roblox friend that have own game, he added me into development, but stops responding, i was keeping game alive and even started to fixing bugs but game root place got moderated and game belongs to my friend, i tried to appeal him wiht my account but

and game had not really big online, game is toolbox but only i knew how to fix those models

i will change name

and idk but creator did questionaire
