Hello beautiful people, I am CEO/Creative Director at Madman Entertainment currently working on a massive MMORPG game with a team of 15 Developers! We’ve been working on this Project for 4 years and have been working on massive amounts of Lore/Story, Gameplay and Mechanics on what players would find enjoyable. Currently I wish to receive feedback on our current first expansions story that we’ll release for Zerana, it would be much appreciated if you could give us your honest critical opinion on it! Here I go…

Wrath of the Forsaken King Expansion

Eons ago, the High Archie’s of the Valkyrian Holy city planned to de-thrown the Emperor, Orynx, and by doing so would need the help of his siblings to defeat him. After successfully removing him they casted Orynx into the Forgotten Realms forevermore trapping him in the dark empty void… Eons pass as his anger grows, planning an escape from the eternal prison he forms an Army from the Lost Souls of the Forgotten Realm, forging them into vicious creatures called the Forsaken. To break free from his eternal suffering he must send his newly forged Army to the world known as Elydrias that ignites a powerful core of Energy inside the world powering the people within it with Magic, twenty years has passed and finally the Forsaken arrive, murdering and corrupting every soul they touch, to stop them the secret Mages Organization would perform a sacred magic to summon Guardians to their world, helping them rid of the Forsaken and putting a stop to whoever sent them. The Mages knew by Legends that an ancient being known as Orynx forged the Forsaken and was trapped in the veil of the Forgotten Realms, to finish the Forsaken they must venture to where no living soul has ever gone, and finally put an end to Orynx, the Forsaken King.

We’ve so much more work to do and we’re very excited to show what’s next for our vast open world, as stated above if you could please kindly state your opinions it would be much appreciated on behalf of all of us working on Zerana, thank you for reading!

Zerana: Zerana is a Open World MMORPG set in the world of Elydrias where players have the opportunity to venture through a vast open world and explore mysteries that have yet to be discovered… Party with friends and plow your way through dungeons, complete quests, grind for gear and progress your Class with upgrades to further improve your capabilities! Choose between 10 different classes and 15 different races, follow through each Races story and current story of the game and push back the evil that threatens all existence to you and Elydrias. Are you prepared?

Will you guys add a anti-exploit? Would LOVE to see one.

P.S. Might wanna delete this topic when feedback is counted soon, as what a true dev would do

Was wondering how Orynx is trapped, but he is capable of sending his army out of where he’s trapped; and also

the pause/emphasis here is weird to me because you’ve already said “Forgotten Realms” multiple times so it doesn’t feel impactful as I assume it’s meant to be here.

The game is still being developed and will take awhile till it’s announced for release, however we do have massive amounts of progress! And yes, we’re attempting to create a Anti-Cheat however as you know it’s not as powerful as actual Anti-Cheat engines since Roblox sadly has limitations. Thank you for the feedback!

Indeed, so the reason why Orynx cannot escape but the Forsaken can is simply because he’s not powerful enough to escape thus the reason why he needs this massive amount of Energy from Elydrias to help get his revenge and take back Valkyria and destroy the entire Universe while at it.

To help you get a better understanding of Orynx, he’s a God. His powers are extremely scary so creating the Forsaken was only the small thrust of his power and might, it took 4 of his Siblings along with an entire elite Valkyrian Army to take him down and cast him out of Valkyria, locking him in a eternal prison. There’s not much story of Orynx that I’ve shared yet purely due to the element of surprise and finding out his true nature and background in-game (To reduce spoilers). And yes, I will fix that, thank you for telling me and thank you for the feedback!

Yeah, question though, what year is the gameplay set in?
