So my Builders Club membership just expired without automatically renewing itself because my card changed and the Upgrade page won’t let me repurchase it.
Although I’m 100% sure it’s been resolved by now, I’d like to point out that this is not a bug. This has to do with your credit card being declined, and ROBLOX’s Payment Processor didn’t immediately tell roblox “hey we are finished with this transaction, so you can allow the user to make purchases again”.
I’m 99% sure the payment processor tries more than once to renew BC. I can recall a few times when I still had my BC a few days/a week after it expired, and then once I put money on my card it renewed.
Roblox can not do anything about it or unlock purchases for your account as this is not a bug, it’s intentional, and not on their end.
Yeah, I had the same issue multiple times in the past, but I confronted a staff member about it and they explained to me how the process works and why it isn’t a bug and they can’t do anything.
I definitely can agree they don’t clarify that well what’s going on.
