Graphics issue on the latest version of Roblox on MacOS

For the past few weeks I’ve been experiencing a weird issue with the graphics when playing Roblox. This happens across all games for me and seems to be tied to something that was changed in one of the recent updates.

Basically what happens is that the visuals behave normally for about half a minute, but beyond that a bunch of semi-transparent black splotchy squares start showing up all over the place. Particles are also affected but instead of splotchy square-shaped negative spaces in them.

Here’s an example of this happening at Super Bomb Survival, but again, this affects all places for me, 100% of the time.

This issue only happens in Roblox’s player. Roblox Studio works perfectly fine, and no matter how much time I spend using it, the splotchiness never shows up.

I’m using a 2016 TouchBar MacBook Pro running macOS 10.12.2, should that help any. I’m not sure what specific release of Roblox started exhibiting this problem but the best I can say is that the window is somewhere between November 21st and now.

I’ve started noticing a similar behavior, not with the squares, but after about 30 seconds I start to have terrible client lag. Never lagged on roblox before, lowering graphics doesn’t help.

I’m on Win10 though.

Yup - we’re aware of this and trying to reproduce - may need to get one of these new MacBooks…
