I made a basic plugin that creates a dialog for you to enter an asset Id, and then inserts that asset into the current selection. This would be a create feature to have built-in to Studio, since it’s very common to use an asset that isn’t in your inventory (i.e. found in the toolbox dialog).

Can confirm I insert by ID on a regular basis. I’ve been using a plugin to add an insert function to _G, so I can just do _G.insert(id) in the command bar whenever I need to insert something, but it’d be neat to have as part of Studio by default.
