Ridiculous 90% market fee on group places

I’m sorry, I usually don’t have anything to majorly criticize or ever outright rant about roblox, but this is pure BS to me considering how long group revenue splitting has been out.

So as a three person developer team, we are forced to take 90% cuts from our profits instead of the already harsh 30% tax rate?

So I’m being told that we will each earn more individually if we simply cashed out on one account instead of splitting them evenly, where trust and accountability between group members is thrown at risk.

So I will be screwed by taxes with having to cash out for the entire team and majorly fk up my financial aid in college by appearing to have significant student income when the rest of my team really needs the money for their own expenses.

So can I request that this absurd 90% tax rate on group places be changed to the usual 30% rax rate and actually have revenue splitting between group members work?

*If the group owner doesn’t have BC

Does your group owner have BC? If not, that’s why the taxes are so high.

I am the owner, I have lifetime OBC, I can cash out, I’m sure I didn’t miss anything here.

It’s probably a bug, it better be. 90% is ridiculous.

My guess is that its something to do with lifetime OBC not being seen as BC properly since they removed those options. Just a guess, but possible

I have lifetime OBC but no group games to test it on, and creating them is a pain.

I’m NBC and I think my group only pays 30% taxes (well, last time I checked, a month or 2 ago)

What I don’t like at all, though, is the fact I can’t set the price of items or put them on sale as NBC.
(Group owner, when NBC, can’t manage items in his own group… y)

What the Hell?

Paying 50 rbx yeilds 2 rbx, so actually it’s a 96% fee.

There’s no way Roblox would impose a 90% tax in groups. Considering they’re trying to push group games this would be a very very stupid idea.

Is this still happening?
That 96% you mentioned, it’s possible that the 90% tax and 30% tax are both being applied? (Which would be a bug)

Hi all, I wasn’t able to reproduce this issue on our test site. Does someone have a game I can test this on? (A game for a group owned by NBC)

Here’s a replication for you, except I’m TBC but it’s the same problem.
