I have AZERTY.
When in-game, ROBLOX suddenly acts as if I have US QWERTY, no matter my keyboard layout.
Since ROBLOX eats windows keybinds, I can’t even try to change the layout of the ROBLOX program.
The ROBLOX forums also have several posts about keyboard layouts acting weird.
A friend of mine has UK QWERTY, where Shift+2 turned from " to @.
Let me actually send an email to the 991 email, if I remember what it is (I mean, breaking the keyboard of a lot of people… definitly important, right?)
Yeah, I had it happen to me a couple of times last week, however it only changed my actual Windows language setting. While I was in-game, I just changed my language back to danish, assuming it was a bug - now I can’t do that anymore, as the Windows setting remains danish, but acts english in Roblox regardless.
I can no longer use the chat properly as I have a European keyboard, and the chat is by default set to QWERTY. I also can’t change it back to AZERTY so I’m stuck with typing [Z = W], [A = Q], [M = ;] and so on.
Can this be looked into? It makes chatting in-game impossible.
None of the code for keyboard layout has changed, I’m fairly certain for keycode input this has always been this case on Windows? Although chatting with your actual keyboard layout should produce the correct string. Let me make sure a particular flag didn’t somehow get turned on, but otherwise I think this is normal.
I’ll look into this asap and report back. Out of curiosity, does pressing return on the leave game screen in the menu leave the game? Or do you have to click the button?
