Particles already have a property like this. Why not add it for objects?

I will keep pushing for this till it happens, I see way too many great creations in my head that would use this.
What, like a specular value? I’d like that. Sometimes smooth plastic reflects way too much light.
Something that this would effect actually would solve a big problem with level design for my game. (Of course, the problem stems from game design issues from earlier in development, but regardless)
Like, for example, the fact that the ceiling in one of my levels casts way too much of a shadow, yet, it is necessary to be there (You can climb on top of it). If I just removed the light influence from it, It shouldn’t cast a shadow, right? Problem solved. Besides you know, just adding another way for devs to be creative with their work in different ways.
