Ben the Banana’s Burgeoning Banana Extravaganza

  • Ben the Banana is BACK once again, this time with his Burgeoning Banana Extravaganza! :rotating_light::boom:
    • With the success of his Banana Bonanza parties during robberies last year, the horizons have been expanded…
    • The thieves have gotten to work in their warehouse to prepare for the upcoming Banana Bonanzas with the all-new Delicious Depot Dash!
    • Both Banana Bonanza and Delicious Depot Dash can be picked and played in special mission voting
    • The event will end automatically!
      • Started: Tuesday, July 23, 2024 12pm EDT
      • Ends: Wednesday, August 14, 2024 12am EDT
  • Delicious Depot Dash (earn money and Banana Bucks) :apple:
    • Godfather needs your help to prepare for the Banana Bonanzas!
    • Get together with a server-sized team in the thieves’ own warehouse and sort fruit crates
    • Throw the fruits into the correct and constantly changing collection areas to earn money!
    • Run, jump, bounce on air vents, and build a combo to rush and get some extra cash
    • Earning more money than everybody else nets you more Banana Bucks
    • Just be sure to look out for MEGA Crates…
  • Banana Bonanza (earn lots of Banana Bucks) :banana:
    • The police are once again on high alert after recent reports of more Banana Bonanzas taking place across the city!
    • The thieves have setup “Banana Stations” fueled with stolen items in order to produce the elusive Super Banana…
    • Deposit currently held items into the Banana Stations to fuel them
    • When the stations are at 100%, it will form a Super Banana!
    • Pick up the Super Banana and take it to an entrance to deposit, while avoiding cameras who can steal it by lasering the carrier
    • The thieves must work together to bring the Super Banana to safety as the carrier is slowed down with more people in the server
    • Whichever team captures the Super Banana, all members are awarded Banana Bucks
  • Normal Round and Banana Bonanza (for some Banana Bucks and fun) :slot_machine:
    • There are new Banana Rotato machines that you can play!
    • There is one per map during normal rounds and many spawn during Banana Bonanzas
    • Become a WINNER and get AWESOME prizes!!
  • Bonanza Bay Shop (spend Banana Bucks) :shopping:
    • Ben the Banana and his family have taken over the lobby with their new and improved shop, Bonanza Bay!
    • The shop can be found on the main road next to The Club and sells event characters for Banana Bucks
    • The thief section sells 2 characters:
      • Ben the Banana
      • Chloe the Coconut
    • The camera section sells 1 character:
      • Banana
  • Limited-time cosmetics (Moneybags & Laser Modules) :moneybag:
    • There are 9 NEW summer-themed Moneybags
    • And also 3 NEW summer-themed Laser Modules
    • They will all be showing up on-sale throughout the event in the Black Market
    • Keep your eyes peeled!

Special Missions

  • Banana Bonanza (notable changes since last event)
    • Updated how cameras earn Banana Bucks
      • You start off with the per-round cap worth of Banana Bucks
      • As thieves secure Super Bananas, you lose Banana Bucks
      • Secure the Super Banana to retain your Banana Bucks
    • Updated per-round Banana Bucks cap
      • Now 14 on public servers (from 12)
      • Now 5 on private servers (from 6)
    • Further lowered the walk speed of Super Banana carriers in populated servers
    • Using a Banana Station only makes you lose 30% of held cash (from 50%)
    • Added new music
  • Every two rounds (from four) is now a special mission (for the duration of the event)
