Get Elttob Relight free via Access Anywhere

If you’re locked out of the Creator Store, whether due to inaccessible pricing, being in an unsupported region, geopolitics, or even just technical issues, then you can get access to Elttob Relight, completely for free.

That’s because Studio Elttob now runs a program called Access Anywhere, a new and permissive way of getting fully-featured tooling to creators around the world, without paying a penny or getting bogged down in extensive questionnaires.

Here’s how the process looks, and how you can get your hands on professional tooling to help accelerate your creation, no matter where you are, or how much you earn.

About the process

Access Anywhere is an unconditional system where product keys for Elttob Suite products such as Elttob Relight are distributed freely to creators who need them. A block of new product keys are generated every month, and fairly distributed among a group of people who apply to get them.

You can be part of this process too, and it takes only a few minutes! Access Anywhere is designed to be inclusive by asking as few questions as possible. Here’s what it looks like:

↓ Step 1: Go to the Access Anywhere form page.

↓ Step 2: Check this box to include your email address - your free Elttob Relight product key will be sent to this email address, so ensure it’s correct and up to date.

↓ Step 3: Choose the current month.

↓ Step 4: You can optionally clarify what’s preventing you from using the Creator Store. This information is forwarded on as part of Studio Elttob’s feedback for Roblox to improve the Creator Store with.

↓ Step 5: Choose the product you would like. In this case, we’re looking to get Elttob Relight, so we’ll choose that option, but you can use this to get other Elttob Suite products for free in the future too.

↓ Step 6: Accept the terms of use for Access Anywhere.

Congratulations! If you’re selected, you’ll get an email with a product key to be redeemed from Studio Elttob’s storefront.

You are now the proud and legitimate owner of a free copy of Elttob Relight!

I hope that I can help creators around the world by offering this program while the Creator Store’s rough edges are being sanded off. Let me know if this helped you build something awesome, and where in the world you’re hailing from! I’d love to know how much of an impact this program has on people

Is there any plans to expand this to Reclass, Imiji, InCommand etc? Never mind I’m blind :joy:

I don’t personally want Relight but I might want InCommand in the future as an example (tbh I wouldn’t use it though but in my mind, that’s more useful).

There indeed are! In addition to Elttob Relight, you’ll be able to freely get Reclass, Atmos and InCommand via Access Anywhere under the same system. In some respects, Elttob Relight is the first test of this system to make sure it works for the others.

Options for Reclass, Atmos and InCommand will become available as they get redesigned and moved onto the new plugin architecture.

Is there any plans to let us purchase these plugins in the same price using Robux? I would love to support you, however purchasing plugins using real money is a real hassle for me.

Is this legal and complies with the ToS?

At the moment, no - but it’s something I’m advocating for massively.

In the meantime, please do feel free to use Access Anywhere! I want you to be supported, so all I would ask for is to put in a good word among your friends or something. That’s supportive too and it does wonders beyond what you can see.

It is! I’ve made sure it ticks every box, and I work closely enough with the Creator Store teams that I’d get a huge slap on the wrist if it was against their wishes.

Beyond that, I’ve actually distributed plugins via similar methods for years at this point so it’s established practice.

I did apply the survey but got no email, I made sure to put everything correctly

The submission window doesn’t close until the 26th of April, so product keys can’t be sent out until all of the submissions are in. You can see the submission windows next to the place where you choose the month to apply for:

Product keys are distributed this way to ensure the system is as fair as possible. Once all of the submissions are in, they’re checked to remove spam or botting, then distributed fairly to as many people as possible.

That doesn’t guarantee that you’ll get a product key, but I’ve (hopefully!) got enough product keys to be generous with handing them out, so I’m trying to get them to as many people as possible.

Hope that information helps! Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns, I’ll be more than happy to help

I hope other products get released in the future and this can help smaller developers or developers suffering from technical issues get the catch of professional plugins. Also

Appreciating not throwing robux gang out of the window. Hope there’ll be a reliable solution to that.

I hope so too.

I believe the two currencies can be reconciled; it’ll just take a bit of original thought to get there. I do feel for the teams though; they have to balance all this up against unpleasant things like money laundering considerations. That’s part of why not all Robux is eligible for DevEx - if I had to guess, they’re probably trying to upgrade that accounting so that it can be automatically incorporated with Creator Store pricing somehow.

I can’t describe how thankful I am for this program and of course for your generousity to host such program.

Since the start of the economic crisis, I’ve always had issues with making purchases in USD as it is simply impossible with the current government restrictions that are forced on me and all Egyptians. Roblox making it that Plugins become USD only makes the situation a lot worse for me and other people having similar issues with their government (e.g. Egypt’s currency [EGP] is not supported by Stripe, which Roblox uses for real money transactions).

Luckily I’ve already purchased all of your plugins prior to this change but I couldn’t purchase your USD only plugins that are sold on itch.io (like Relight which I really wanted).

Thank you man for offering such insanely high quality plugins for free to devs who are unable to access them, you’re truly a real one for this! And if there’s ever a way for me to pay for Relight in Robux I would instantly do that even after getting it for free (if I’m selected).

Again, thanks a lot!

Sorry about the situation over there! I’m glad that I could do a little to help you out regardless. That’s fantastic to hear.

Much love from the UK :slightly_smiling_face:

2 questions involving repeats of this process
will i be able to do this with more than one plugin, and will i be able to apply again for the same plugin the following month if im not chosen?
somehow this feels like a scummy thing for me to do, feels like im begging for free stuff and i dont want to do that

You should be able to apply for multiple months - I’ll be going through and clearing out responses every month so they should be resubmittable. I limited it to one product per month though because the number of keys available for each product aren’t infinite, so I’m trying to ensure there’s enough for everyone.

And I’m sorry about the impression it gives - in the longterm I’d like to automate it more so it’s less… form-like? But the intention isn’t to make people feel bad - I did consider variants where the products were more instantly available, but I didn’t know how I could protect them from one person hoovering up all of the keys at once, which’d be massively unfair.

i dont like the sound of this, but its true. again, it just makes me sound desperate. im just not making money off of anything right now, im only barely building the things i want to use this plugin for.

Yeah, I’m aware this isn’t something that everyone is comfortable sharing. I made that whole section optional by the way, so it’s only if you want to explicitly volunteer that sort of information.

As an aside, this stuff isn’t used for marketing or whatever. I’ve tried to be clear about that throughout - I explicitly list the use cases for the data I’m collecting and have taken steps to ensure the questions are designed to anonymise the data in the structure of the answers themselves - but I can get that’s hard to trust.

My intention is to release ongoing summaries of this data publicly (after being quickly checked over and reprocessed to remove any personal information or duplication). You’ll likely see this in the form of a DevForum post at the end of the month. That should then be an easy resource for everyone to reference when talking about the Creator Store’s current accessibility issues - I personally plan to forward it on to the Creator Store team as part of my broader advocacy.
