2 toy code gears incorrectly positioned and unscripted

I managed to get my hands on two toy code item gears and I wanted to wear them on my avatar and I noticed that both of them were incorrectly positioned and do nothing in gear supported games, both in R6 and R15. The main problem, at least in my opinion is the incorrect position. The gears lay on the character’s right hand instead of being held like regular gears and so much potential was wasted, especially when these are toy code items.

Gear no. 1: Valkyrie Sword

Gear no. 2: Pirate Mop

As you can see, the gears lay on my character’s right hand, both in-game and on the website.

Expected behavior

The solution is to just position the gears correctly.
The valkyrie sword should be positioned like every sword is. For example, the claymore:

The pirate mop should be positioned like it should be. Take a look at a different mop I found in the catalog:

I would really appreciate it if you could fix them

They may have no intention to fix these items, because they don’t support fixes nor creating them.

These are toycode items though, they should be getting more attention.
Also, some gears are currently being looked into and possibly getting fixed.

Yes, thank you, I reported both of these as well and saw no response from moderation yet. Hoping that something can be done because these were both paid with actual money and it’d be unfortunate to keep them useless.

Couldn’t agree more, there are so many gears incorectly positioned in R15 aswell:

It seems that gears made for R6 are causing issues in R15 and vice versa

Roblox gear functionality was abandoned in 2019 and the administrators on this Devforum quite frankly aren’t going to bother to fix this even though they are toy code items. In all honesty you’re probably going to have to get a job at Roblox and fix it yourself if you want anything done about this.

That may or may not be true. The ROBLOX Classic Brigand’s Sword was fixed a few days ago

It surprises me to hear that, but I suppose that makes sense given it was the first gear item published to Roblox. Still, this gives me some hope that they fix the animations of the gears you mentioned in this post.
