How would I make a Q to dash script

Hello, I just really want to make a q dash script as i am getting back to scriptig I scripted 3 months ago for about 2 weeks and I would like to do something that would challange me and I believe making a Q to dash script would really help me alot.

Break down scripts please

Try typing Dash into the search bar up top. I know this topic has many previous posts about it.

1.Get your character and humanoid root part
2.Get input
3.Get tweenservice
4.Check if input is Q
5.Tween your hrp position to how many studs you want on your hrp’s lookvector direction
6.I think that’s all…

Might be more beneficial to use a Linear Velocity or something similar instead of tweening as you may have issues using tween service if your dash is into a wall.

yep its also an option if bugs are coming
