How can I disable movement with the FE gun kit when typing in Global Chat?

I’m currently using FE gun kit (modded version from something I purchased on a website called ClearlyDev), and I noticed that when holding a weapon & movement in general, whenever the textbox is toggled for global chat and typing in the WASD keys, the character is still unlocked and can move when typing. For those familiar with the gun kit, how can I fix this? Apologizes if this is in the wrong category, I couldn’t think of anywhere to get help for something this specific.
