In arsenal 2 the view models do not pass through walls, How do they do it?

minute 3:03 I dont know if they do it with viewportframes or how they do it but I really know now that there is a way and famous games implement it, the question is, do they do it with viewportframes or some other trick?

The viewmodel is probably really small and very close to the camera.
