Lately I have been making a first person horror game. I want to make a dialogue system that you do not actually respond to the stuff the NPCs tell you. Instead the players and NPCs take turns and talk to each other. Similar to most story games in the platform. Any help is appreciated!

It would probably involve an event that any player can fire, maybe when a player hits a door , then the server initiates a set of functions to follow the story line. You could probably design a simple system that a new message is created on an index with the icon, name, text, etc with your custom time for each. I could help if you need anything else.
