Interviewing someone

im going to hire someone to help assist me in scripting because i am not very advanced and i lose track easily. this is why im going to need someone and im going to first see if they are skilled or not, to do this im going to interview and probably ask them to create something on the spot while watching them any good suggestions on things that can test their skills?

To be honest, if you’re just hiring someone to assist you, I wouldn’t recommend a technical interview unless you’re unsure of their previous experience/work.

this is going to be for long term and im gunna use my money that i am earning from my part time job to pay for them so im just being careful (like 50 usd weekly or biweekly idk yet)

Agreed with the @Katrist, adding a technical portion isn’t really going to benefit if they’re just being of assistance.

Not only that, but those type of interviews tend to drive people away from wanting the position. It needs to be a two way street. You should be considering the question: why should this applicant be working for me other than compensation? What do I have to offer that can help excell the applicant at their role?

i think i worded it wrong this is like a job they are going to be my co scripter so they are going to be doing most the work because i cant i just want to see if they are able to produce quality content. i want code that is efficient and wont cause any lag even after like 24 hours of running and easy to look at and read
