How do I tell when a mouse is hovering on an attachment?

As said in the title I would like to know how to tell if the players mouse is hovering over an attachment.
How do I do this?

Is the attachment a part? If so, you can check if mouse.Target (or UserInputService along with some raycasts) is the attachment in RenderStepped.

no its an attachment . . . cause thats what I said in the title. . . But I could just put a part right where the attachment is

Have you even tried checking with Katrist’s solution yet? Going off of what he said, it should work.

Even if it is an attachment, you should be able to detect it with mouse.Target

You could also put a part Infront of the attachment but I’m sure that Katrist’s idea would be much easier

Oh I thought that would only work with a part. Sorry then

I was just asking for clarity, many people call normal parts “attachments” for some reason. I don’t mean any harm lol.

Yeah Ig I was a little harsh, kind of bored out of my mind. Sorry!

Also, mouse.Target only detects BaseParts, I forgot to mention that earlier, sorry.

Ill just take your idea and put a part where the attachment is, Thanks!
