Textbutton not registering mouse

I feel stupid asking something so basic but i have no clue if this is a bug or w/e

In random spots, when I’m hovering over a text button it doesn’t register my mouse cursor ( as shown in the video )

Is there some property I can change to prevent this from happening? I’ve experimented for hours, all I know is that it’s unrelated to code and it’s not the custom mouse cursor.

The textbutton is located in a surfacegui with the surfacegui’s adornee set to the part behind it

Could you provide the hierachy of the GUI system? My first guess would be to order the layout so that your button is in the absolute foreground.
