Walking/Running Animation issue at a Walkspeed < 16

Hello, I am new to posting on the DevForum so my apologies if I mess up how formatting here should be.

I am trying to find out the cause for my walking animation looking like it’s replaying after a few frames.

I am using ROBLOX’ Animate script (copied from the character and put in StarterCharacterScripts), and my custom walk animation seems to be a bit buggy due to my walkspeed being 13 and not ROBLOX’ default (16). Both walk and run animations are the same in the values, as well as the script, and AutomaticScalingEnabled is also disabled on the humanoid.

Note: I do utilize strafing

I know this has been an issue for others, but I have looked countless times on the devforum for anyone’s solution that works for me, but because ROBLOX’ animate script has changed significantly since each post I’ve read, I still have no solution, even in the “Your topic is similar to…” box.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Solved it temporarily eventually,

if you want the solution too,

Lines 191-202 in the Animate script

local function setupWalkAnimations()
	resetVelocityBounds()
	-- check to see if we need to blend a walk/run animation
	for n,v in pairs(strafingLocomotionMap) do
		--updateVelocityBounds(v.lv)
	end
	checkStrafingEnabled()
	for n,v in pairs(locomotionMap) do
		v.track = Humanoid:LoadAnimation(animTable[n][1].anim)
		--v.track.Priority = Enum.AnimationPriority.Core
	end
end
