Need more details about Pathfinding limitations

I’ve been searching for awhile now I cannot seem to find any real details regarding limitations of pathfinding service. I’ve been running into a great deal of issues where “NoPath” can be calculated between points where it doesn’t make sense that no path was found. I have carefully inspected the navigation mesh of the map and there doesn’t seem to be anything stopping a path from being found.
I’ve double checked Cost modifiers, I’ve checked agent parameter values and there really is no reason for it. I’m trying to find details such as Maximum path cost, maximum path distances, position height limitations etc… As much details as I can find regarding how the path is calculated. Any help is appreciated.
