Anyways I have a game that involves npc’s moving with animations on random paths and all that. So I test it in studio and it works as intended. Now when I play the same game through the website on my computer the animations and movement of these npcs are broken, the animations are buggy and sometimes their movement just breaks. Now when i play the game yet again, this time on my phone, everything functions perfectly, same as it does when testing in studio. I believe its just some issue with my computer lagging or something when playing through the browser. However this doesn’t make sense to me. My computer is not bad, neither it my wifi. And it is the very same computer that i made the game and tested it though studio on. And my phone, which is less powerful then my computer and is connected to the same wifi plays the game there are no issues. Could someone please explain why this may be occurring.
Sounds like it could be network lag. Go to File -> Studio Settings -> Network
and try setting Incoming Replication Lag
to 1000
. 1000 will be a 1s network delay and you will notice lag if there is any.
Ill try that after roblox is back up. If lag does turn out to be the issue which it probably is, is there a way around it. I already said in my post why it being lag wouldn’t make sense to me.
