Mech too heavy for hinge?

So I have a mech that uses a hinge constraint to turn its body.
However, the mech is seemingly too heavy, as this happens:

as shown in the video above, the mech’s hinge bugs out and becomes wonky for seemingly no reason.

I have tried to fix this by increasing the max torque, lowering speed, messing with other properties like density, etc, and nothing has worked.
Any help?

Under Part settings you could try enabling massless for all of the parts that you want to move. Also consider trying tween over constraints - those tend to be more smooth
