Touchpad scrolling does not work on roblox client

I know this is a duplicate bug report from 6 years ago: Two-finger track pad scrolling gesture doesn't work on many devices.

Side scrolling or any kind of scrolling gesture does not work on the touchpad when playing on the roblox client (not to be confused with studio)

The report says that will be prioritized, yet does not have a fix 6 years later.

System Infromation:

  • Operating System: Windows 10
  • Device model: TOSHIBA Satellite L755D
  • Touchpad Driver: Synaptics

Expected behavior

Can scroll on horizontal scorlling frames, and be able to use the scroll getsture using the touchpad.

I forget to make an update about all of this. This is a late update about the laptop.

Update: The laptop was my friend’s dad (not my own). They asked my dad to return it since it was for a repair and they had paid for the costs. So I wasn’t be able to replicate the bug at the moment.

I hope that anyone would replicate the same problem above.

I have the exact same issue, just bought a 2024 Zephyrus G14 after switching from a Macbook and I cannot get the gestures to work on Windows at all. My environment often doesn’t have the space for a mouse. Would love if they can fix this.
