A GFX I’ve made in around 10 minutes

I dont know what’s the theme of this GFX but

I made this GFX around 10 minutes, I know it’s pretty short and might be dull for experienced GFX designers but I’m happy what I’ve created.

The gun inside the GFX is NOT made by me.

Feel free to give me any constructive criticisms and improvements.

The one massive issue I can see is the placement of the gun. Instead of her head being above the gun, it’s on the side.

Amazing what you could create in 10 minutes, I love it!!

I’m kinda a bit confused. Can I have a visual definition?

As you can see by these images, the gun is held below the head, instead of the side.

Her hands are set up in a way were the gun would fly away when shot.

Not bad however the lighting feels out of place. Why is the background so dark but the light is as if its broad daylight? not too bad those for one made in 10 mins.

Not Terrible At All But The Lighting is a bit odd.(Not Saying I Could Do Better)

In general you should think of the purpose of the GFX when you make it.

Here’s a few just of the top of my head:
Gamepass Promotion, Game Promotion and Game Previews

Then the next step would be the main point of showcasing it:
Gameplay, Model Exhibition or clickbait (Your Trash If You Do This).

As a general rule of thumb single action poses like this are no good, the majority of games use stuff like that and it just screams ‘I lack content, don’t play me’. I find that a lot of the image comes from the background, here all there is is fog which isn’t a bad touch but on its own is a lack of content. Instead if you are looking to showcase characters and guns / equipment its better to do a sort of montage with multiple characters with different equipment across a section of a in game map, this links the GFX to the actual game so it isn’t clickbait; It also enables GFX to be more imaginative e.g group shot in action, e.g running from bank with cash going everywhere with novelty stuff going on in the background e.g character getting sent flying from a shotgun (Its the small things that draw people to take a closer look at your GFX)

You’ve got the potential to make some good GFX but you just need to apply it in the right way. Don’t mistake skill and imagination, they are two completely different things.

I don’t think people hold shotguns above their shoulder unless it’s some new fashion I haven’t learnt, but lower the position of the gun

Like I said, I like to do it in my style. I won’t use this GFX as for something else but I think your reply is a bit harsh.

Wow that’s really good I can’t even make one in an hour :joy:

Just to let you know, I didn’t make the haze/smoke in the background.
