A light fixer plugin sneak peak. What do you think?

This seems like a very helpful script, would love to see it in community resources when it releases. Keep it up!

I’m planning to release it on next week around Wednesday or Thursday. I’ll also post it here when it’s released! Stay tuned!

That’s no problem!

After:

(Edit: This is still not perfect there are still some very dark spots, that’s why I still need to develop it :D)

I do have one question what if the room is really big?

Well, you’ll of course need more lights then. It looks really bad when it’s REALLY big btw.

(It’s mainly made for rooms, houses, caves, medium sized closed buildings)

  1. So is this essentially GI?

  2. Is the shadow property on the lights turned on or off?

  3. What about light leaks?

  4. How similar is your method of calculating light bounces compared to the one by @.filiprodak?

I’m a bit of a GI fanatic myself lol.

Hello! Yes, It’s GI.

You will be able to toggle the shadow property, on the picture it’s turned off.

What is a light leak?

That plugin is cancelled, also it doesn’t even work now at least for me. Plus I like to challenge myself.

I love it. I hope it is going well for you in the creation of the plugin.

To be honest I would pay robux for it.

My idea is to make it free for the first 24 hours and then it will cost about 20-40 robux, really not much.

I agree 20-40 robux is not much. People will like the price.

Very reasonable price, the before-after shots look great!

Hello!
The plugin is out right now!
It costs 35 robux at the moment, because it was really hard to develop it.

Hello, again!
I had to create a new post because the other one was taken down.

A light leak is light leaking through a surface as seen in the photo below.

Also, side question, if the shadow property is turned on, won’t you have the issue of slow updating shadowmaps?

Well, I can’t do anything about that cause it’s a Roblox bug. Yes, shadowmaps are going do be slow if shadow property is turned on, but you can change the shadow property on/off in the plugin.

It looks so good, what GI algorithm did you use?

I didn’t use any GI algorithm. I found it out by myself. But I’m sure someone already discovered my algorithm tho.
