Reproduction Steps
Get a long script, set a breakpoint and try to debug (steps)
Expected Behavior
Debugging should remain fast.
Actual Behavior
IMPOSSIBLE TO DEBUG (Each step takes up to 20 seconds!)
This started to happen after this:
Reproduction Steps
I never liked the Intuitive Debugger: Slow, bureaucratic, clumsy, difficult to use.
But apparently Roblox is imposing this new version, as I can’t find it anymore to disable it in Beta features.
Expected Behavior
I want the old debugger back.
Actual Behavior
There’s no option to deactivate Intuitive Debugger anymore.

Roblox screwed up and officially replaced a stable debugger by a buggy one.
I CAN’T DEBUG ANYMORE!

Only after a DM to @IcyTides knew that the Roblox team has reversed the issue and made it possible to return the Intuitive Debugger to the Beta list.
I’ve been stuck since yesterday and due to this bug and, AGAIN, no one from Roblox has come forward to say the issue has now been fixed.
This lack of communication from the Roblox team with the bugs reported on the forum is a constant and harmful situation.

I’ll keep this thread open, as the Intuitive Debugger slowdown problem hasn’t changed.

Thanks for the report! We’ll follow up when we have an update for you.

Today, Roblox again IMPOSED the new debugger in place of the old debugger.
It’s hard to understand why you do this, since the Intuitive Debugger is still flawed and slow (more than 1 second per line step).
Why not consult the developer community first?
After all, we are the ones who make the games that make Roblox money.
Please stop belittling us!
Closing the old topic in favor to:
Since yesterday, when Roblox arbitrarily imposed (a second time) the new Intuitive Debugger as the only debugger (not giving you the option to switch back to the old debugger), debugging has become virtually INVIABLE.
In the video below, you can see that each debugging step takes around 3 to 4 seconds, between moving to the next line and updating the other windows (Watch and Call Stack):
