Hey, I am building a mall for a friends game and right now it looks okay, and it’s coming together, but he and I agree that it lacks colour and materials, and I was wondering what I should change/add? Either new features to the mall, or new colors specifically, any advice would be appreciated. It’s meant to be a low poly/cartoony themed mall, so take it into account if you’re giving advice, thanks!

Maybe add more things into the build like advertisments, benches (I saw you put some 2 but maybe a few more?), and maybe even a map of the mall.

Try to make the tiles slightly different colors, just like in the picture. You could also add fake advertisements, like @Judash399 said. Aside from that, it looks pretty good!

I’d recommend using color palettes, although I never used one myself, but looking through some can give you better ideas on colors for your mall. You should also make the mall taller, larger floor tiles and change some of the materials to plastic or smoothplastic, as you’re making a low poly/cartoony themed build. Plant pots would fit well too.

My suggestions would be to change up some of the colors, since it looks a little basic and bland right now. Also, add some display plants to liven it up a bit.
