My PC isn’t too great while multitasking games and all of my normal programs so I’ve always assumed the poor performance was just my 1660 super trying to render anything above low graphics and low-end processor handing more than one thing at a time. I’m not sure if that’s actually the case for Proton as a whole considering how loved the Steam Deck is but I’ve just assumed it’s my PC.
