Animation’s right arm is broken when played

Hi, I made a punching animation with Moon Animator. The animation turns out good in Moon Animator, but in-game its right arm is completely broken.

Does anyone have a solution to this?

Hm, that’s weird. Maybe because it’s a MOV file?

Hey there! Unfortunately this problem can’t be solved because there’s no actual video. I recommend using this software to record your screen. It works perfectly for me. (ONLY FOR MICROSOFT)

Please let me know if this helps! :+1:

Convert .MOV to .GIF to this site and show the video using Gfycat. Thanks.

I made them as a gif, should work now

Was this Idle animation presented using a script? Or try again with the official Roblox animation plugin.

Yes, the idle animation was presented with a script. Trying with the roblox animation editor doesn’t work for some reason.

If you’re using a script, you can delete the code-type animation in the script, replace it with an animation(please use roblox animation link), or delete the script.

If I understand what you’re saying, it still doesn’t work. I think it has something to do with the animation itself.

Try rotating the punching arm all the way around in moon suite, since in the game it shows the arm punching the other way around.

It probably might be due to the rig you’re using for the stand. The joint in the arm must be rotated the wrong way around. Just slap the rig into a charcater creator plugin or joint editor and rotate the joint that is connected with the arm. That should fix it right away.

Here’s an example:
In the Roblox animator (or whatever animator program you’re using) It looks perfectly fine, right?

But if we play it ingame, you will see that the arm is going the wrong way.

This is a simple fix, all you need to do is rotate the arm the other way:

Then tada, it works:

all you really need to do is rotate the arm 360 degrees.

Try to rotate the arm 460 degrees.

Rotating the arm 360 degrees doesn’t do anything, it still happens.
I don’t think it has to do with the joints/welds, I tried it with my own character and it still happens.
(Never mind, it worked! I just forgot to update the animation. Tysm!)
