Sometime need to wait for a new server to start up But now we can can join server faster!

i just tested this and oh my god. it was instant.

Well, it seems to have made no difference! Servers still take a few moments to be created.

(edit Jan 3. 2024): Still not working.

Could this prewarming result in buggy servers in games where they depend on player quantity || the guarantee that there’s a player in-game?

For example, could Round-based games be affected by this? If not, what does this even affect?

Does this work for private servers as well? Or just new public ones? Sorry if it’s mentioned above tldr

@Swetch29 We don’t run scripts until the first player is about to join to maintain backwards compatibility. As a player, the only thing you should notice is that you were able to join the server faster. Especially for round-based games, which typically have a teleport that creates a new reserved server first

@Sushiriceforlife Yes, this works for private/VIP servers, public servers, and reserved servers

Announce does not mean release. Please don’t complain. It does say enabled but there currently is a threshold mentioned.

This feature is a big improvement for the Roblox Community, with a way faster loading of the game, we won’t waste more time waiting and gameplay will already be ready to have fun.

Did server prewarming got disabled? Private servers seems to take a lot longer to load now.
