Severity levels
Administrative Punishements
Major punishement may only be used for direct offenses to rules relative to the Roblox TOS or high recurrence of Atura Transport Rules’s offenses.
Note that gameban command may NEVER be used for any offense to rules relative to Atura. This command is reserved for abuses against major Roblox TOS offenses like exploiting or really abusive recurrence of offenses against Roblox TOS.
Regulative punishements
Regulative punishements may be used for most of usual infractions against both Atura and Roblox Rules.
Most offenses to rules relative to Atura, if not abusively recurrent, may only lead to a verbal warning from the staff. Offenses should only be answered by a killvehicle or mute command if the culprit is openly disturbing the in-game experience.
New players may never be faced to any punishements without a proper explaination / reason from the staff.
Prevention and awareness
Prevention is the key word of Atura’s staff. The main role of a moderator / admin is to inform every players of the rules and the punishements relative to them.
A staff must systematically explain properly to the player the reason of the punishement and more than that inform himself of precedents infractions by the player by checking his warnings before punishing.
Enforcement of the rules conditions / terms of use
Applying punishements
Each actions from a staff members that concern the punishement of a player in any way shape of form will require a proper and distinct reason justifying, relative to the severity levels the punishement applied by the staff member.
When enforcing rules, a staff member must show an exemplary calm to others players.
Staff members are forbidden to apply any punishements against any players if they feel themselves overwhelmed by the situation or not able to work properly. In the case of a staff member being overwhelmed by global players behavior, they are required to end their service and leave the game / asking for another staff (preferably higher rank) to come and judge the situation properly.
Balance between staff and player
Being a staff member is in no way a form of superiority / authority towards players.
Staff members and players are perfectly equals to each other and any player have to right to ensure its own defense and advance its arguements if he feels wrongly punished.
The arguements of a staff member isn’t worth more than the arguements of a player. During and arguement, any concerned person have to be listened so a proper punishement can be applied to the actual culprit.
- Note that staff should still have the last word in most cases, as their experience / knowledge of the rules is usually taken in consideration
- If a player feels his punishements unfair or abusive, he should report it to the hierarchy. Arguing with the staff will only aggravate their situation as they’ll be liable for harrassing the staff.
