[Badges] How to actually make them up to date again

The way I see it, badges can be used to help market your game. ie) x goes to y’s profile, and see’s y has a cool looking badge, then goes to the game and also tries to get that badge.

Aside from that, merely is totally right the badge system is completely ‘broken’ and overlooked.

I’ve had this idea for almost 5 years now and nothing has been done about it.
