Beams and Trails are not rendering in Studio. I see this bug was reported a few months ago but the bug was marked as fixed and the thread was closed, so apologies if this is a duplicate but if the bug was fixed, a new bug is causing the same issue.
I have all Beta features enabled except for Next Gen and the new Type Solver. I tested with all Beta features disabled though, and the issue is still there.
Thank god other people are having this issue aswell.
Last time this happened to me it seemed to be caused then the LightInfluence was down to 0 and i fixed it temporarily by putting it at 0.01, but that doesn’t seem to have worked this time.
Thank you so much for reporting this as I’ve really been scratchin’ my head for the past couple of hours. I suppose I shouldn’t be so reckless with a renovation, moving models and folders around, because I was thinking it might be a beam parenting issue I caused. But I have no beams now even when opening old versions of the game file
No beams in studio on both my old intel mbp and an m1.
Beams and trails are indeed fixed but I am not sure what happened but the lighting in studio vs in game is different for me and only for me. My coworker isn’t seeing the same thing as I am.
